Vieux Carre (pronouced voo-ka RAY) is a charming neighborhood tucked away in the Northeast quadrant of Tallahassee. While the surrounding area is bustling with shops and restaurants our neighborhood is graced with low traffic streets, in a tranquil location with lots of natural green space, while still convenient to everything!

Vieux Carre embodies the characteristics of its namesake: centrally located, inviting, with a French flare.  It features homes with French Country styling, enhanced with peaked roofs and arching windows. Subtle French touches are also found in the fleur de lis engraved mailboxes and streets named after prominent New Orleans landmarks, such as Rue Royale.

The subdivision is located off Hermitage Boulevard, with almost 60 homes, most of which were built in the late 1990s and early 2000s.  Lot sizes range from an eighth to a half acre. With an active Homeowners Association, Vieux Carre is not only a peaceful, friendly place to live, but a neighborhood where residents take pride in their homes and maintaining the natural beauty of their community.
